The Yr 1-3 Swimming Carnival has come and gone. I am so proud of Amelia's efforts.None of my children can swim. Have you seen a go-cart as old as this and still being run around the backyard?? It was made, I think, by a couple of my brother-in-laws and my father-in-law close to fifty years ago!! These were SO weird! I found them on Amelia's skirt when I was folding the washing, just before Brisbane had that huge butterfly/moth plague. I went to the RNA today to collect my exhibits, certificates and ribbons. The ladies there sure know how to make a person feel great about their craft. They said the nicest things to me. I was also told that they had 'all fallen in love' with my first place winning puppy.... yeah, me too. I am really glad to have him back. I am in the middle of tidying up my small scrapping area and have decided I have WAY too much stuff.
